Let's get started...
So, to make this unravel easily in a sensible way, I am going to approach these tips as if one was just starting here on dA. The timeline will be from opening a new account. Even if this isn't your case, look at it like we are talking about this in a Fresh Start kind of way. Some of the earlier steps may be super obvious to you guys, but bear with me!
:iconsmile--plz:Have a Gallery
No, I'm not being sarcastic! Haha. I don't just mean this in the obvious sense of "have a gallery" but fill it. Just remember that everything you post to your gallery represents you. Anything you post can be subjected to comments, critiques, and the occasional troll. Just have more than 5 pieces in your gallery, at least. How to get your GROUP some exposure!:iconstudytimeplz: Now, I'm no genius, and my group although doing well, is no big name. But along the way, I guess I did something right, so I'm going to brainstorm all of my steps for you guys who have your own group or are thinking of starting one! :)
WARNING: Groups take a lot of time, if you want them to be great. Make sure you know that going into making one, because if you don't have the time to make it, what's the point? No one wants to join an inactive group. =P
Just like I did with my Deviant Exposure entry, I'm going to approach this as if you are just starting out. Everyone likes fresh starts, right? :iconihappyloveitplz:

Okay, so fast-forwarding passed all the obvious steps of creating it, let's assume you now have your group name and page. "Make it pretty" sounds kind of... superfluous, doesn't it? Excessive.  But it's not, really! It is necessary and I will tell you how it will help:
